Diwali 2022: Diwali Chopda Pujan Muhurat, Shubh Choghadiya : On the day of Diwali 2022 , Goddess Lakshmi – the goddess of wealth, Lord Ganesha – the giver of Riddhi Siddhi and Kuber ji, is worshipped. On this day, Businessmen, owners and companies are worship their ledger called Chopda and start writing their financial accounts in new books from this day. Gujarati are believing is Diwali Chopda Puja is one type of as Muhurta Puja for their business. In traditional Hindu business, Diwali is considered the last day of the financial year.
The Deepavali 2022 is one of the big festival in India because Lakshmi Chopda Pujan is important in this auspicious day, and Lakshmi resides where there is worshipped and cleanliness. Businessmen is closing their old book and purchase new book to start writing financial account in new book on month of Kartik this day. Its worship method is performed with equal enthusiasm. Lakshmi Puja during Diwali is better known as Chopda Puja in Gujarat.

In Gujarat, Choghadiya Muhurat are in prevalence and considered suitable to perform Chopda Puja. People prefer auspicious Choghadiya timings on the day of Deepavali. The Choghadiya Muhurat which are considered auspicious to perform Puja are Amrit, Shubh, Labh and Char. The advantage of using Choghadiya Muhurat is that those are available during day time as well as night time. However, in Electional Astrology, Lagna based Muhurat especially during Pradosh are given preference over Choghadiya Muhurat. Hence, Lagna based Diwali Muhurat and Pradosh time Lakshmi Puja Muhurat are considered more significant during Diwali Lakshmi Puja.
The ritual of Chopda Puja is also known as Muhurat Pujan and Chopada Pujan. Apart from Gujarat, Chopda Puja is also performed in Rajasthan and Maharashtra by Hindu business community.
